At nineteen, while studying abroad in Costa Rica, Julia Rosso began to see how many people lack access to the knowledge or resources needed to truly nourish their bodies. That realization planted a quiet dream: to cultivate a community rooted in wellness, wisdom, and life-giving practices shared in love.
A decade in the wellness world taught her that real health is never only physical. It is the integration of body, mind, soul, and community. A gift from the Creator who supplies our needs, makes herbs for the healing of the nations, and calls us beside still waters and green pastures.
Life in the United States moves at a relentless pace. Minds grow crowded with noise, decisions, and screens. Julia built Althea Vida as a simple, nourishing answer: fresh cold-pressed juice paired with herbal tea, bottled in glass for the sake of both the body and the earth. Bottles are made to be reused or returned.
Her wellness retreats carry the same intention. Time in nature, real food, scripture, conversation, and rest. Space to slow down. Room to remember that wellness was never meant to be walked alone.
